The judges’ decisions made, and the exhibit in place at the Lexington Park Library. Winners of the Lions Clubs International annual peace poster contest will be announced at an artists’ reception, Saturday, November 10, at the Lexington Park Library, 3 p.m. The theme this year is kindness matters and the students’ posters reflect their interpretation of the theme in picture. Winning posters from this local competition will be forwarded to the next level of competition where they will compete with students from Calvert, Charles, Montgomery, Prince Georges, St. Mary’s Counties and the District of Columbia. St. Mary’s County Lions Clubs, working with our community partners, St. Mary’s County Arts Council and Red Chalk Studios sponsored the contest for all County students ages 11, 12, and 13.

Please join us for this ceremony and celebrate the accomplishments of our student artists.
