The Lexington Park Lions Club hosted the 2nd Annual Tom Stout Memorial Golf Tournament May 17, 2012. The weather was perfect and 108 golfers competed for prizes at Wicomico Shores Golf Course. The tournament was a resounding success, raising more than $6500 for our outreach programs in the Lexington Park community with the result that we have been able to more than double our budget for sight-related programs to provide more than 100 pairs of glasses for those in need this coming year. And for the first time, we’ve been able to add support for the hearing impaired budgeting to provide hearing aids for two individuals in need.
We appreciate, also, those who donated breakfast and prize goodies; your generosity added spice and fun to our day and made a lot of golfers very happy!
